The aim of our workshop in the frame of Pride Amsterdam this year is not only to once again come together to remind ourselves that we are stronger together, but to work collectively toward practical solutions, projects and programs that can ensure justice and equity for everyone.

About the event
LGBT World Beside is happy and proud to announce this year’s event as part of the festive program of Pride Amsterdam – on Friday August 1st we invite our volunteers, partners and friends for a day of networking and open discussions with the aim to bring different stakeholders closer together.
Date and time: August 1st, 14:00 – 18:00 Location: Amsterdam, Hotel Arena, 's-Gravesandestraat 55 Participants: LGBT World Beside (Board members, ambassadors, volunteers), governmental and non-governmental organizations directly involved with asylum/migration/queer issues in the Netherlands

14:00 Doors open, welcome drinks 14:30 – 14:45 Short introduction and welcome speech from LGBT WB Board members 15:00 – 17:00 Group workshop on collaborative approach to queer asylum seekers’ issues and challenges in non-commercial sector (workshop structure to be shared closer to event date) 17:00 – 18:00 Light borrel 18:00 Free time for informal networking
