LGBT World Beside at the Van Migratie to Participatie national congress!

LGBT World Beside will take part in the Van Migratie tot Participatie (From Migration to Participation) congress that will take place on June 2nd in Utrecht.

The congress aims to bring together policymakers, NGO’s, activists, social workers and other stakeholders working closely with migrants and refugees. LGBT World Beside is happy to be among the chosen organisations, and will facilitate two workshops during the congress.

During the first session, the team of Psy4Queer will introduce the project, our achievements and plans, and invite speakers to discuss the challenges of providing sustainable mental health support for LGBTQI+ refugees in the Netherlands. The second session will focus on our two main integration projects, Spelletjesdag and Proud Integration, introducing practical tools of cooperation and project development to deliver the range of integration activities from community gatherings and informational sessions to internships and academic courses.
